below and demand that they increase Employment Insurance benefits
rates and that the benefit period be extended well beyond the 5
weeks that they laid out in their stimulus package.

Help us bring about changes to the
Employment Standards Act
(Hours Of Work)
| Contact your MPP, tell them that the
current legislation regarding the hours of
work is hurting not only the employees but is restricting the
company's ability to service
our customers.
While it may seem strange for a Union to advocate
changes to this legislation a
few examples of how it affects our members include not being able to
make a
shift change during the middle of the week to attend a doctors
appointment
because of the requirement to have 11 hours off. The same applies for
workers
who wish to double back ie. Friday afternoon to work Saturday days. So
scheduled overtime goes unfilled because the person wanting to work
can't under the
